Job Opportunity: Art Teacher Substitute

Watercolor for Kids, LLC is seeking kind, dependable, and confident art teacher substitutes to join our program for the school year.

We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with elementary aged children and have experience. Our ideal substitute is responsible, engaging, patient, and comfortable leading children through a creative art experience.

Position Requirements

Availability Monday–Friday, 2:15–3:35 p.m.

Experience working with elementary aged children

Dependable, confident, and enthusiastic

Able to provide professional references

Must have a background check on file with Portland Public Schools (PPS) or be willing and eligible to complete one

This is a great opportunity for a former teacher, teaching professional, or other experienced educator who enjoys working with children and fostering creativity.
